First the air is blue

Designed as an immersive audiovisual experience, the piece integrates interactive video projections, generative visuals, and surround audio, all seamlessly blended with real-time performance. Going beyond the usual concert format, Alicia Lazaro and Paloma Lazaro Arteaga created a symbolic universe shaped by their powerful voices. In addition to composing, Alicia designed the scenography, visuals, and real-time interactive elements, creating the bridge between them and the music. Developed in collaboration with software engineer Akshay Sarode, the piece explores the fluid relationship between sound, space, and perception, offering an evolving and immersive experience for the audience.

 

Music blends with technology to open a window. A window into imagination, into impossible worlds.

The voice is the vehicle for that journey.

We sing out of joy, to call for sleep, to understand sadness, into the daily little acts that we perform over and over in an infinite repetition of history.
